We respect your privacy and therefore always ensure the protection of your personal data and follow the principles of secure processing of personal data. We handle your personal data responsibly, fairly, transparently and legally. - What personal data do we process?
– Basic contact information (name, phone number, email address);
– Data related to the use of our website (clicks on links, time spent) and data regarding the response to e-mails we send on behalf of the company (whether the message was opened, which links you clicked on);
– Data that, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, we need to fulfill the contract and deliver the ordered goods (item of purchase, price, delivery address, delivery time, payment method, payment date, data on complaints, data on the invoice issued, etc.).
The company is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the data entered by users. The customer is obliged to provide current and true data for smooth operation.
The provider collects personal data with the explicit consent or agreement of users. Consents are stored together with their content and the content of the form with which they were obtained.
The provider stores the collected personal data in the Republic of Slovenia and does not export it to other countries under any circumstances.
The company permanently protects the collected personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 94/07) (ZVOP-1), the Electronic Communications Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 109/12, 110/13, 40/14 – ZIN-B, 54/14 – odl. US, 81/15 and 40/17) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

– when necessary to fulfill our legal obligations (e.g. issuing invoices for purchased goods);
– when the processing of your personal data is necessary for the conclusion and performance of a contract you have concluded with us or because you have requested an offer from us;

Why are cookies necessary?
They are essential for providing user-friendly online services. Cookies make the interaction between a web user and a website faster and easier. They help the website remember an individual's preferences and experiences, saving time and making website browsing more efficient and user-friendly.
The company assigns each user a cookie for identification, shopping cart monitoring and traceability at the beginning of each use of the online store, which is stored in the server's memory only for the duration of the visit to the online store and is deleted after one hour of inactivity. - How long do we keep your personal data and what happens to it afterwards?
We store basic personal data at all times, without time limit, as long as you have the status of a registered user on our website.
We store personal data that we process based on your consent permanently or when you provide your personal consent to revoke the storage of your personal data.
We keep data on issued invoices for 10 years from the date of issue.
We retain the data necessary for the conclusion and fulfillment of the contract between you and us for 5 years from the fulfillment of the contract (delivery of goods).
After the retention period has expired, we effectively delete or anonymize personal data, which means that we process it in such a way that it can no longer be linked to or attributed to you.
- Voluntariness of data provision and consequences of failure to provide data
The provision of personal data is voluntary. You are not obliged to provide us with personal data, but if you do not provide it, you cannot conclude a contract with us (as we need it to deliver the order). We will state which data are such that their failure to provide them will result in the above-mentioned consequences each time we collect personal data from you.
Who has access to your personal data?
We do not provide your personal data and do not allow third parties (outside Beesmetic doo, except for those who have a written contract with us, on the basis of which they perform certain tasks related to data processing and are obliged to comply with the legislation regarding the processing and protection of personal data (so-called contractual processors). The contractual processors to whom we provide personal data are:
– marketing service providers;
– email providers;
– providers of programming solutions;
– delivery services.
Contractual processors may only process personal data on our instructions and may not process personal data for their own purposes. They are committed, together with their employees, to protecting the confidentiality of your personal data.
Contractual processors do not transfer personal data to third countries (outside the member states of the European Economic Area - these are EU members and Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein).
- What rights do you have regarding personal data, how can you withdraw consent to processing and what are the consequences of withdrawal?
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
– to request from us at any time:
- confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data;
- access to personal data and the following information: purposes of processing; types of personal data; users or categories of users to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, in particular users in third countries or international organisations; the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored or, if that is not possible, the criteria used to determine that period; the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and the reasons for it, as well as the significance and envisaged consequences of such processing for you;
- one (free) copy of the personal data in a format specified by you (if the request is made by electronic means of communication and you do not request otherwise, the copy will be provided in electronic format); we may charge a reasonable fee, taking into account costs, for additional copies requested by you;
- correction of inaccurate personal data;
- restriction of processing where:
– you dispute the accuracy of the personal data, for a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of the personal data;
– the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of your personal data and instead request the restriction of their use;
– we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims; - deletion of all personal data (right to be forgotten), if the conditions set out in Article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation are met, and in particular if you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data;
- printout of personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, with the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from us;
- cessation of the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling;
- that you are not subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, if the conditions set out in Article 22 of the General Data Protection Regulation are met.
– the right to file a complaint against us with the Information Commissioner if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the General Data Protection Regulation.
