Do you feel tired and without energy? Then this homemade honey granola recipe is perfect for you! This healthy and delicious meal will fill you with energy and give your body the nutrients and vitamins it needs. You can have it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The charm of homemade granola is that you can make it according to your taste. In the store, it often happens that the granola contains too much or too little of one of the ingredients (Hello, who wants so many raisins? And why are they so stingy with chocolate drops?). But if you already find the perfect granola, it always runs out too quickly.

If you make your own granola, you can put only your favorite ingredients in it in the quantities that suit you! If you want the granola to be crunchier, add more coconut oil and chia seeds. If you want it sweeter, add more honey or other sweetener. If you like more nuts or more fruit, add a handful more. There you have it, the perfect granola! 😍

Today I prepared honey granola with nuts, but of course you can change and adapt the ingredients of the recipe to your heart's content, so that the result will be truly divine.

You need:

  • 200g of oatmeal
  • a handful of walnuts
  • a handful of roasted hazelnuts
  • a handful of almonds
  • 1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons of expanded amaranth
  • 4 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 2 spoons of honey
  • half a teaspoon of bourbon vanilla powder
  • half a teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Procedure:

- Turn on the radio. Find good music. Okay, now for real! ;)

- Turn on the oven at 180°C

- Place coconut oil, honey, bourbon vanilla, cinnamon and ginger powder in a saucepan and heat over low heat until the whole kitchen smells of coconut. When the oil and honey are melted and the other ingredients are well mixed, and family members are already asking what smells so good, you are ready for the second step.

- Pour the remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Pour the contents of the first pot and mix all the ingredients together.

- When you are finally sure that everything is well mixed, spread the mass on the baking sheet and put it in the oven.

- Bake the granola for 15 minutes, stirring it once in between so that it bakes evenly on all sides.

- After the granola is baked, the most difficult step follows - waiting for the granola to cool. This is key for those big chunks of crunchy granola! While you're waiting, you can make a smoothie and then mix the granola into it. I blended a banana, frozen blueberries and some Greek yogurt.

- When the granola has cooled, sprinkle it over the smoothie.

Granola tastes especially good if you eat it somewhere in nature, in the sun. Have a good run!
